Geographic location

Gdansk is a town with almost half million citizens. It is the capital of the sea side in Poland, A big centre for trade, research and culture.

The thousand years old Hansa town Gdansk is situated at the Gdansk bay and has had a key position when it comes to trading between countries in North-, West- and East Europe.

You should not forget Sopot and Gdynia. All people in Poland know the famous pier in Sopot, opera in the forest - opera Lesnia with its annual melody festival or the walking street Monte Cassino or the beach in Sopot.

In Gdynia it is worth to look at least one museum - The sailing ship "Dar Pomorza" and Oceanarium - the sea museum. There are many other beautiful places like Zulawy, Mierzeja Wislan, castle in Gniew and several other attractions.
